Welcome to the Friends of the Irmo Branch Library. A non- profit, volunteer organization, the Friends support, promote and help fund Irmo Branch Library programs, services and materials. Please take a moment to read about all the good things we do for the Irmo Branch Library of the Lexington County Public Library System, and see how to become a member of the Friends.
The Friends:
~ Encourage community-wide support of the Library
~ Organize fund-raising activities for the Library
~ Make the public aware of Library services and offerings
~ Ensure that our Library is the best it can be
We fund our efforts through membership dues, special events, book sales and our Friends Book Shop located inside the Irmo Branch Library, at 6251 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29212.
